This policy explains what Filvon collects when you visit filvon.ai or ask for early access, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Last updated 21 October 2026.
Who we are
Filvon ("we", "us") runs filvon.ai, a platform that helps Indian startups set up and manage their dev tools. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we collect
When you ask for early access
The early-access form on filvon.ai sends us your work email, company name, the products you're interested in, your monthly spend on dev tools, your team size, the language you used and the time you sent it.
When you fill in a LinkedIn lead form
If you download our material through a LinkedIn lead form, LinkedIn shares the details you choose to submit, such as your name, email, company, job title and your answers to our questions.
When you browse the site
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog to see which pages you visit, what you click, the device and browser you use, your approximate location from your IP address, and the website that sent you.
- Session recordings. PostHog records how pages are used (scrolling, clicks and page changes) so we can find what's confusing. Everything you type into forms is masked and never recorded.
- Advertising measurement. If you arrive from our ads, the Google tag and the LinkedIn Insight Tag tell those platforms that a visit or sign-up happened, so we can measure our ads and show them again to people who visited.
These tools use cookies and similar browser storage. We do not collect payment details, passwords or government IDs on this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your early-access request and set up your team.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To measure our advertising and show our ads to people who showed interest.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your personal data.

Some of these services store data outside India, for example in the United States. They process it on our instructions and under their own security commitments.
How long we keep it
- Early-access and lead-form details: until you ask us to delete them, or two years after our last contact, whichever comes first.
- Session recordings: 30 days.
- Analytics events: as long as they help us improve the site, and no longer than our analytics provider's retention period.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it,
- correct, complete or update it,
- delete it, and withdraw any consent you gave,
- handle a grievance about how we used your data.
Write to [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies and your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- You can turn off personalised ads in your Google and LinkedIn ad settings.
- Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not read by every tool we use, so blocking cookies is the more reliable choice.
Children
Filvon is for businesses. The site is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
